filming process

 today i filmed my commercial. I was helping my friend and her group and they helped me with some shots. i brought all the things I needed, including a notebook, pencil, phone and headphones. my friends were also in one of the shots, playing background characters and a person walking down a hallway. i got all of my shots done today. I changed a few filming locations, due to weather and lighting. there were people in the backroad so I was sure to angle the camera away and get as little unwanted noise out. since one of my shots was supposed to take place in a loud hallway, i left most of the noise in. my highlighter had clear polish over the tip so that it didn't mark anything incase i needed to do a retake. I didn't use a tripod, because I didn't need one. most of my shots were moving. a few were overhead. the process took 1 hour and 30 minutes. was able to complete the whole filming process in the class period. I had decided the music i wanted to open in the app ahead of time. when i opened the app, it went right to the selected music. this was helpful to reduce time because it was a bit long. I don't have to direct any one, just myself so that process is easier on me. next class, i plan to edit and do any final touches necessary. I need to record the selected audio to put over the clips. this will increase sound quality.

filming blog: reshooting and final scenes

for our last day of filming, on march 27th, the group had to refilm a scene at the park. this was because the day we filmed it, it was too windy. you couldnt hear the audio. everyone met at my house again, and i drove us to the park location when we got there, we shot the nessisary clip. after that, we got distractes and we played on the playground because we had extra time. there was also a beach at the park, so we went and put our feet in the water but me and michael fell in trying to catch a ball. because we were in out fimling clothes, we had to immediatly leave and drive home. once we got home, me and micheal had to change into dry clothes and quickly dry out filming clothes. this took about 45 minutes, so in the mean time we had lunch. once the clothes were dry, the group was able to film the scenes that we didnt get to the last day of filming. this included me sabrina having to put fake blood on micheal again, and me and celine doing his makeup. once this was done, i had to do m...
