 today i filmed my commercial. I was helping my friend and her group and they helped me with some shots. i brought all the things I needed, including a notebook, pencil, phone and headphones. my friends were also in one of the shots, playing background characters and a person walking down a hallway. i got all of my shots done today. I changed a few filming locations, due to weather and lighting. there were people in the backroad so I was sure to angle the camera away and get as little unwanted noise out. since one of my shots was supposed to take place in a loud hallway, i left most of the noise in. my highlighter had clear polish over the tip so that it didn't mark anything incase i needed to do a retake. I didn't use a tripod, because I didn't need one. most of my shots were moving. a few were overhead. the process took 1 hour and 30 minutes. was able to complete the whole filming process in the class period.  scene one in this scene, I will film a person struggling to focus on school work. the person will start to get frustrated and and will close their books. the person will then get a text from "Spotify" saying to "turn us up" and will take headphones and plug them in.  scene two in this scene, someone will be walking in a hall surrounded by people talking and being loud. the person will then get a text from "Spotify" saying "crank up the tunes" and will put some headphones while the background chatter dulls. scene three pan back to person studying. that person has now completed all their work and is happy, so they turn on happy music and starts to text "Spotify". the person types "Spotify, music for everybody" and turns to smile at the camera. scene four back to the hallway, the person is now out of the hall, and starts to text "Spotify" they type "Spotify, music for every occasion" they turn to smile at the

props  since i decided on a Spotify ad, my main prop will be my phone with my phone with the Spotify app. i will also use headphones. costumes For my commercial I will be the main subject. I will be wearing casual clothing, like jeans and a t-shirt or a jacket. I will probably wear dark shoes, like black converse. My hair will probably be tied back or down.  schedule on 9/22/21 i researched codes and conventions of Spotify ads. on 9/24/21 i researched props, costumes, schedule, location lists, and backup plans. on 9/24/21 i will complete the story board for the 30 second commercial. on 9/28/21 i will start the filming and recording the necessary shots. on 9/30/21 i will edit the final touches to the commercial. location list my main location will be the classroom, in the class room I will film myself opening up the Spotify app, putting an earbud in, and doing some homework. this would show ho music can help you to work quicker and enjoy yourself.  my next location would be the hallway

 for my commercial I am doing a Spotify. in these videos people are usually sitting down, taking part in what seems to be an interview about how they use the Spotify duo plan, or a series of clips of someone using it in daily activates. the clothes are usually casual and lazy like sweaters, jeans, t-shirts, and sweatpants. props can be a couch, table, a phone, headphones. their appearance is usually calm, an comfortable, maybe a bit of camera makeup because it is a calm environment. there is usually no background music, or a light happy theme to help the audience enjoy the commercial. conventions and codes could include the Spotify logo or the name, it is well known and people recognize it. the commercials are noticeable because of the logo that is well known. the commercials sometimes include famous people, to increase popularity.

 For my commercial project, I am working alone. I wanted to work in a group but I don't really know anyone. I chose to do an AD for Spotify. I enjoy listening to music so it will be fun. I am a bit worried about the editing because I've never done it before. I would much rather work with someone. I feel that it would be more fun. It might lighten the work load as well. I will probably finish faster. I tend to do better alone on projects. I feel like I might get bored so I want to try and find a group next class. I'm super excited about the filming part. That looks like it was fun to do from looking at the examples. I pretty much have an idea in my head for the most part. it might be a bit difficult to get certain angles without a partner. I also think that the project might need more than one actor. I'm ready to start my story board. I am looking forward to that. I enjoy drawing so that's good.  Hi, my name is Ashley Scanlan. My birthday is October 14, 2005.  I hate the dentist and I'm terrified of shots. I am 15 years old, and I love music, playing guitar, and playing lacrosse.
