My Group

For my short film project, i am in a group of three people, including myself. These people Aja Masri, Jordyn Minnis, and myself, Ashley Scanlan. When we made our group today, we instantly cliqued. All of us are hardworking girls with different helpful talents. Jordyn has a knack for editing, aswell as being incredably smart. Aja has a great imagination and great humor to keep us going through boring assignments. I love to film and act and im always up for an adventure. With all of these traits combined, I know we will make a great group. When we broke into groups today, we did some light brainstorming. We were spitballing different ideas, and of course aja was throwing in some silly ones to make us laugh! I think we came up with some great ideas and it was a great way to test out our dynamic. Jordyn was amazing at keeping me and aja on task and ready to work. I have never worked with jordyn before, but I partnered with aja last year for the AS music video. I believe that this short film will be so much fun to film, and I am so excited to get started. Aja and Jordyn have also expressed this. Before we start filming, we have to determine what idea we want to decide on. Some of our ideas are so good and I cant wait. When we go to class on wednesday, we will choose our final idea.

filming blog: reshooting and final scenes

for our last day of filming, on march 27th, the group had to refilm a scene at the park. this was because the day we filmed it, it was too windy. you couldnt hear the audio. everyone met at my house again, and i drove us to the park location when we got there, we shot the nessisary clip. after that, we got distractes and we played on the playground because we had extra time. there was also a beach at the park, so we went and put our feet in the water but me and michael fell in trying to catch a ball. because we were in out fimling clothes, we had to immediatly leave and drive home. once we got home, me and micheal had to change into dry clothes and quickly dry out filming clothes. this took about 45 minutes, so in the mean time we had lunch. once the clothes were dry, the group was able to film the scenes that we didnt get to the last day of filming. this included me sabrina having to put fake blood on micheal again, and me and celine doing his makeup. once this was done, i had to do m...
