production blog:waiting to submit

my group is completely finished with the video. we used the changes from the peer review to better the final product. the group is waiting to submit the finished product. a lot of effort was put into making it and we are very proud of it. last minute edits were made, like adjusting volume and blurring people faces out. we wanted to give people privacy and not show their faces. there was only one clip where this was a problem. after that, i had to upload the video to youtube. this was because we need to embed the video to publish it here. this consisted of taking the video from my phone and putting it on my computer. after that, i created a new video in youtube, and filled in all the required information. iadded the title, "media studies final vid" for organizational purposes. once that was complete, i sent the link to the groupchat to let them know it was uploaded. everyone responded, and are all excited to be done. this is the last blog before we submit the final product. it was a lot of fun recording our process. you can see the changes since the begining of the assignment. the whole group is so excited to share this with you!

filming blog: reshooting and final scenes

for our last day of filming, on march 27th, the group had to refilm a scene at the park. this was because the day we filmed it, it was too windy. you couldnt hear the audio. everyone met at my house again, and i drove us to the park location when we got there, we shot the nessisary clip. after that, we got distractes and we played on the playground because we had extra time. there was also a beach at the park, so we went and put our feet in the water but me and michael fell in trying to catch a ball. because we were in out fimling clothes, we had to immediatly leave and drive home. once we got home, me and micheal had to change into dry clothes and quickly dry out filming clothes. this took about 45 minutes, so in the mean time we had lunch. once the clothes were dry, the group was able to film the scenes that we didnt get to the last day of filming. this included me sabrina having to put fake blood on micheal again, and me and celine doing his makeup. once this was done, i had to do m...
