Name: ashley scanlan Creative Critical Reflection 1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? Spotify uses music to bring people together. Music is something that everyone can take part in and enjoy. Spotify has added a new feature during quarantine called “group sessions”. This is a program that allows groups to play the same music at the same time, linked together throughout multiple phones. This promotes togetherness and is a way to connect during times when we can’t be together physically. This company has also donated over $10 million dollars to charities like Musicares, The CDC, and WHO. These donations were to “Help those in the music community who need it most”, and to help fund the efforts of Corona Virus care and cures. 2.
